I am now beginning to wonder whether the foal is actually still in there... she looks to have gone even thinner on her tummy, but when I turned her out this morning her bag decreased. The liquid coming out is like a golden colour (I had a quick squeeze when she came in).
I don't get it... everything else is pointing towards her being ready to foal (very slack bottom, long puffy vulva, wobbly tail, foalie looks to have moved backwards) but her bag has reduced again! There is a new swelling in front of the one in front of the udder (if you know what I mean).
Does anyone have any ideas or advice as I am starting to get a bit worried by everything looking ready to foal and the bag just not keeping up!
