No foalie and no changes either... I went in last night and she had huge drops of wax on the end of her udders and then had milk down her legs this morning, and again after she had been out (I clean them before she goes out to see whether she runs milk while out). Her bag had not gone down at all this morning in her time out, and she seemed really hungry today too.

She was restless again last night, but not as much as the previous one... Again, she seemed really hungry last night too, and ate all of her haylage which she has not done for quite some time

How much longer can this go on? My poor girl is well and truly fed up and very uncomfortable. She is not really sleeping as she can't get comfortable. She's going from foot to foot a lot, wandering around and getting down then getting up again.

My god you must be a very nervous and shattered Becki?.Does Hannah not realise what she is putting her mum through!.I know it's a ladies perogative to be late but his must be taking the preverbial!.

I know... I am absolutely shattered, and we are supposed to be going out to lunch with some friends we have not seen for quite some time so I have to go. I can hardly open my eyes at the moment, and feel really exhausted. Took me ages mucking out this morning

Becki your not alone, you won't believe the number of forum members (me included) checking in late and getting up early just to see if foalie has made an appearance!!!!

Have a nice lunch, but please ask Hannah to hurry-up, you sound like your on your knees and the rest of us are walking round like zombies.

Aww, I was convinced it would be this weekend

So maybe tonight?

Poor you and Hannah, at least there'll be a lovely foal at the end of it

Unless... are you sure Hannah's not the first horse to have a boob-job and reverse lipo on the sly...

Blimey, I would of thought now would be a nice time to have the foal, its warm and sunny! I can understand holding on through the cold spell but come on Hannah no time better then the present.

There is no need to worry yet as 10 days isn't that bad, you also need to allow for a little leeway re conception, as the sperm live I think 36 hours. So she may only be 8 days over not 10. (not what you needed to hear, sorry)
She is very near by the sound of it, I just hope you manage to hold out before bursting with frustration..

Fingers crossed that tonight's the night, as you sound like you're getting desperate for a good night's sleep. How are your family and your boss bearing up under the tension??
Good luck!
Fiona

Ahh -- I say a dose of castor oil and a run around the block are in order here. (Advice from an elderly neighbor to me when I went 2 weeks over in one of my pregnancies). All I can say is that it seemed to work -- was on my way to the hospital an hour after my second lap through the neighborhood).

Ok i think i'll take that money off that i put on that Hannah would have him by tomorrow! lol.

I just really really hope shes not going to be 4 weeks late like my friends mare was last summer.

sounds mean... im glad she hasnt had it yet! i thought i missed it, iv been following this for ages, but havent checked HHO since friday!! hurry up hannah!

Same here, I've checked in today for the first time since Friday and I was sure there would br a foal! Poor Becki - how are you managing with work? Maybe tonight then? She's running milk, they normaly come within a few days of that...

Becki you clearly havent got drunk yet...you should have come out with me, mangobiscuit and Weezy last night. I bet you would have had a foal this morning, which would have been alot more exciting than the headache I have now!
