Hannah's foal alarm went off last night

Oooo... that is worrying me now.

I think I'll get the YO to check on her when she goes up at 3ish (I will be up at 4pm as got saddle fitter coming).

Oh hon how exciting for you. Fingers crossed for you and hannah, you never know you may even get to slepp in your own bed over this weekend sometime!!!

How exciting! thinking of you and fingers crossed for a bouncing baby very soon. Know how exhuasted and excited you must be - 10 years since my last foal but our little mare is due on 1st May...

Let us know as soon as there's any news and good luck!

She may of just be very uncomftable and started to sweat.
My vets don't use foaling alarms as they always went off at the wrong times and then not at all when the foaling started.

Hannah is IDxTB... not sure what percentages as she is of unknown breeding. I was told she came with papers but they had gone 'missing' somewhere along the lines so I believe that they could have been sold with another horse.

I would have thought it would have gone off before now, that's all... She was really restless last night getting up and down several times without settling. I just hope everything is ok.

Oooh this is so exciting. I've been to town and first thing I did was check this on my return! We might have to start another bet going as my one has expired now

OMG.........push hannah!!!!! in through the nose and out through the mouth or something like that

I am on edge waiting for your reports now

I don't how on earth you are coping as the waiting is terrible I keep logging on throughout the day at work to check for any progress. Come on Hannah! Can she get any bigger, she's huge now?

Right I'll now stick my neck out and say it'll happen tonight...(famous last words!!!)
She may already be in slow labour hence the discomfort, I'm glad at least the alarm worked, fingers' crossed it will again.
You're in for a sleepless night by the sound of it, it may be better if you and your friend take turn and turn about for two or three hours each than relying on catching her in the act though.

Right Hannah. josie has handed over her crown of 'mare with crossiest legs'. Your poor Mummy must be exhausted, just push!!!!

I'm sure it's going to be this weekend Becki I really am. In fact I'll be waiting for my text tonight, goodluck xxxxx

I'm sure every thing is fine. She probably just getting ready to foal, foal moving into the correct position etc. Thats why she was restless and the alarm went off. Don't think it is anything to worry about.
With these signs I'm sure it will be very soon.

Fab pictures of her udders with the wax on them - she sound slike she is very close now - I reckon tonight could be the night....

You reminding me how much further my 2 imminent ones still have to go as they haven't even started to wax up yet!!

Thanks everyone... she had still not finished her breakfast when I went up tonight and is still a little restless but not as bad as she was last night. Her bag has filled back up (it only went down a little tiny bit) and is now absolutely rock hard like it was last night. She had a few small splashes of milk down her legs tonight so I have cleaned them up again so I can see whether she has any more tonight when I go down at 8.30pm.

Come on Hannah... your Mum is absolutely shattered now and is getting ulcers in her mouth, stys on her eyes and a cold because she is so run down. Please

Thanks Rollestone... I saw your advert in H&H, it looks very nice and is eye catching too! From experience so far yours could have them well before Hannah, as she seems to be taking her time over each stage. Bloody hell, first stage of labour might go on for a month
