I wrote a whole post and clicked X on the iPad

So we have been quietly working away at home and preparing for an Elementary test. Working on lateral movements, counter canter, and (as usual) my naughty left hand and habit of looking down. Had a huge surge of confidence recently, Han is kitted out in azure matchy matchy and I'm wearing glittery spur straps (dressage diva tendencies)
I've dug up an old post of mine and happy for comments - this is a comparison really. Hopefully someone will notice the weight change as well <pushes mince pies in bin>
Pics off videos so a bit blurry!
Not much to offer, Christmas cheese remnants and spiced winter tea :)
If YouTube gets its act together, I may add a second video

What level are you competing at the moment? Not sure if you are aiming BD elementary or not but I don't think based on the vid you guys are ready, the trot is somewhere between walk and trot and needs to be 10x more forward and more connected, when you did push her on the balance and contact was lost so perhaps a bit more work needed to get up to that level. Hope you don't mind me saying and the comments are constructive :)
p.s really like the bling x

I think you need to work on getting her forward and off the leg, forget about the front end and just try to get her moving from behind.

It's all too backwards at the moment. I'd leave the lateral work and go back to basic and establish a forward swinging walk, Trot and canter. You need the basics established correctly.

That's my humble opinion.
