Just want to wish my beloved mare Happy 24th birthday !!!

There were many times along this journey I thought I would lose her due to lami or complications to do with this laminitis journey. She has remained sweet, loving, and calm along this journey. Knowing she is in the stable for a legit reason. I will put her banner outside her stable later. She normally gets a range of goodies melons-grapes-apples-cauliflower-polos-bananas - and pears. The recipe for disaster in her case now.

I was going to ask my vet about 1 tiny weeny carrots, her first in 10 months. But farrier found abscess round her sole due to dead lamina so still debating as vet said one tiny one wont hurt.

So I want to wish D a very happy birthday. xxx

My Bailey boy shares the same birthday with D [not in year though!]. Glad to hear someone else goes up to the stable with a banner too...!

She was doing not too bad, some growth the but farrier yesterday found an abcesss which is common , its where the lami died so I am to expect a few while it grows out (Hopefully )
