We've got some history. He taught a lot of folk to ride along the way. he was still jumping 3 foot at around 35 eyars old. He did a 10 mile ride in his later 30's.
He has the cleanest legs and superb feet. Our vets think he suffered a mild stroke back in September last year which left his heart with a murmur that was so bad it was commented on he shouldn't really be walking about...then when he had his spring 2008 MOT they couldn't find the heart murmur at all!
He lives out 24/7 -his choice_ well rugged in winter. he can't cope with hay or haylage now but can do wonders with big skips of happy hoof/alpha fibre plus his two meals of fibre, oats, linseed and pink powder a day in winter. He lives with the feral mare Garnlas and her daughter Luya and is a steady but quite strict companion to a youngster...and both give him the kind of companionship that is perfect for an old guy. that's Tanna, a great old lad..
