The TB myself and my friend bought to save from the meat man went to her new loan (with view to buy) home on saturday! I cannot believe how lucky we've been to find them!! It's 2 16 year old girls who are horse mad!!! The one girl is very lucky and her parents have built her 3 stables and a small yard with some lovely little paddocks and a grass school to work in!!! They have access to a friends sand school 2 minutes walk away too!!
Got there and after a quick look round the yard and introduced Jade to her new pal (palamino mare!) and decided as both were very chilled (Jade is the NICEST mare ever..never once seen her squeal or kick) we let them into their paddock. Quick nose sniff and they wandered off like life long pals and munched on lovely fresh spring grass!!
I was more than happy to leave her and the girls parents fully supported them and signed the loan agreement.
I've had text's...facebook updates and now photo's!! They are utterly in love with her, she's been lunged and they had a little walk on her up the drive (she's being shod this week but I told them until then no road work) and she's so far been the angel I know she is.
I cannot begin to express how happy I am, not only do they seem to be the perfect owners for her but she is being the perfect horse in exchange. She so deserves this and I cannot wait for the shows because if they carry on with the good work they've already started she'll be wowing everyone and I'll be on the side lines with the biggest grin and tears rolling!!!!
