Have just got back from a fantastic 2 1/2 hour hack
It is the first time we have ventured off the farm since moving yards about 7 weeks ago. With Bert's tantrums and traffic issues and Star's bouncy sidewaysness of late we have stuck to the farm, which is pretty big and has loads of hacking but can get a bit repetative so with a burst of boldness last night we decided that this morning was time to bite the bullet.
Am glad we did as they were both very good, even though Bert pulled my arms off and had a wobble at some motor bikes.
We had to keep to walk and trot as Bert has just had Osteo treatment but we went for miles, and put a few wrong turns in for measure LOL We even rode past the Devil's Horsemen fields and saw some of their horses and a couple of donkeys.
Bert did well as he is not particularly fit and has just had his back shoes removed.
All in all I am feeling incredibly smug and happy if not a little stiff!
