So...

I took my little mare for a short hack today. She has been hardly ridden since last summer due to injury after injury with a couple of abscess' thrown in.

Anyhoo, she was fab and sound!

No spooking at the Alpacas (even though one came right over) and she was good (didn't bog off) even when we were chased by a dog.

She's also fitter than I expected. She wanted to trot up the hills and wasn't puffed at the top.

It is nice when something goes well and I thought that I would share the good stuff with you as I have moaned/vented a few times on here about her lameness.

I'm loving your horse, does she have any Arab in her?

Yes, she's an anglo-arab by the arabian racehorse Vadeer.

She is a tricky and unconfident mare hence why I am so thrilled that she was so good today especially with the dog.
