My boy has been with a local chap since Thursday who is breaking him to harness (did lots of long reining in harness at home first and we suspect he was driven before I got him quite a few years ago). Anyway I went to see him this morning and was SO happy I nearly cried! We went for a drive round the village and I couldn't believe it, he was so good. He trotted out beautifully, wasn't bothered by the traffic, went up and down some big hills - I was so impressed. We covered about 5 miles. The only problem is he's very keen and doesn't like standing still at junctions, so he's going to stay there for another week and hopefully learn to use his brakes a bit better. I didn't get very good pics as I was too excited and so was he but here they are!!

Thank you. He loved it, much more than i've ever seen him enjoy being ridden. Should help him lose some weight too as he is massive at the mo!
