Had a jumping lesson today on YO's 6 y/o ID - which btw, I am very grateful to her for!
I haven't jumped (except the past 2 weeks) for around 12 months probably longer and even then only a small pop at a X pole - I have always wanted to be someone who is comfortable jumping bigger jumps as I do really enjoy it but nerves do get in the way!

Anyhow, here's today....

Whheee!! Approx 3ft.

Got a bit eager and got in front of him!

Such a good lad.

I've no self confidence and am always terrified I am flapping, bouncing about in the saddle and still using my RS bad habits I picked up - the amount of times I said sorry to Patrik today!! :o
the most important thing was that height of jump actually started to feel comfortable - although maybe it is because I was on a bigger horse and it felt smaller ;););)

Yeah approx 3ft :)
we did the top one in last week's lesson but his heart wasn't really in it today bless him! That photo was the only one he didn't overjump apparently so the rest of them may well have been 3ft! :p

WOO!

You two look fab! Give me some of your courage and good position vibes please :o xx

Haha thank you!!
YO had me walking, trotting and cantering him round for about 10 minutes last week stood up in my stirrups without leaning on his neck to get me into a better position its an invaluable exercise (but it bloody hurts!!) And courage is getting there...I am getting older now I think it goes with age!:o:D

Well done, you must be elated right now, it is the best feeling conquering your demons:D
now do you fancy sending some of that courage my way so I can do the same:o

Aww thank you so much guys!! :)
As for courage - find a horse that will forgive you anything and who is big enough that you can't see how big the jump really is! ;) :)
Really really happy.
Just go for it!!!!!! :D
