Happy lami stories please

She looks an absolute sweetie bless her!!! How old is she? dont rule out coming back into work just yet, plenty of horses come back into full work again it just needs to be done gradually! Good job you remembered about the teeth before the turnip lol!! What about a lick? Laser wont touch the hanging ones but loves the Horselyx, only problem is he gets his lovely white blaze caked in orange treacle and then grows from 14.3hh to 16hh when i'm trying to clean it off!!!
How did you add the pic, i'll put one of my boy on for you to see and when is the vet next due? x

Shes 20. The vet has insisted no sugar, not even a carrot, so I daren't do a lick, they all seem to be molasses. She does have a red mineral brick thing.
Pics, you need to upload onto photobucket and then copy the img code over.
Vet is due next Thursday, which will be 2 weeks. (Longer than ideal but I want my usual vet and shes been away). I also need a pregnancy confirmation and jabs for the other two, so its a job lot. Spoke to her last night though snd she said to cut down to half a bute a day as Pop is sound marching around her stable.

It isn't Poppy thats pregnant, if it read that way, its my horse. Am very excited!

Vet has been...rang to say she was in the area and could she come...
Poppy is much better and is allowed 15 minutes turn out a day in a little pen. I have to move her into a bigger stable so she doesn't have to turn as much. Vet thinks she will be OK so I am delighted.
And Dixie is confirmed in foal - a good day!!

Fantastic news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sooooo pleased for you. Its the best feeling in the world when its good news. I really am chuffed to bits for you its such a worry and i dont think people truly understand unless they've been through it themselves. It didnt read as poppy being in foal, I guessed it was another mare but double good news! Wouldnt worry too much about being lame on one bute she maybe just needs a bit more time. Laser had his back feet done today, giving him a day or two to make sure he's not stiff (cos of the arthritis) then i'm going to start working him again. He's had 2 weeks off because of the COPD but he's only on half a ventipulmin now and gradually coming off that and his breathing is fine (touch wood). He was loose in the paddock yesterday and was running round like a 3 year old. Brought a tear to my eye to see him moving the way he was, I cant wait to get back on him!! Keep me posted with Poppy's progress she'll be back popping those fences in no time! x

Poppy is doing well, she is down to 2 ACP twice a day and tomorrow goes to half a bute one day and a whole one the next. Shes quite happy in her little paddock, but with less ACP is definately getting a bit livelier!

Finally sussed out how to put a signature on!! Laser is the bay sec d, the middle picture was his first day out in the paddock after the lammi! Hope Poppy's continuing to improve.
