Could someone advise me please as to whether this bit is dressage legal? BD show the straight bar with bobbles as being illegal but I cant see anything about the smooth one. Bit World is selling it as legal saying that Happy Mouth have brought it out due to BD rule change.

The straight ones (called Taper) are the same shape as the Sprenger Duo which is also plastic, though softer, and dressage legal.

I've just bought one as my horse loves Happy Mouth, he bit through a Duo (at ninety two quid !) and I want to compete him in future so I need a dressage legal bit.

I'm sure it's legal.

Thank you.

Smoothe one is fine.
The bobbles I think are being reintroduced as allowed at FEI and will presumably filter back into BD/BE at some stage
