What horsey things have you got to be happy about.

Mine is .... we have just started riding my beautiful horse again after nearly 9 months off due to him having a badly fractured leg. It feels wonderful.

Even though my retired old boy is my only horse at the moment...it still makes me happy to see him out grazing and the youngsters over the fence always have his fly mask off his head(I have seen them grabbing the ears and off it comes)! They are great big posh Traekners??or whatever they are called he is a roughty cob............ROB THE COB!

But I still thoroughly enjoy poo picking with him trying to nibble the bolts out the bottom of the wheelbarrow he always whinnys at me which I think is a great compliment.

So yey happy days!

Dafthoss- must see lots of pics and vids I love your pony he's stunning! :D

I led my boy out to the field this morning without any jogging or sillyness (doesn't sound like much but is amazing for him.) :)

Well done andy, can I steal some of his energy for my pony please?
Ok I'm just going to up load the photos and videos

I'll give you some of his energy for free! My RI keeps insisting that there is never anything too energetic but I disagreed with her when in 28 degree heat he managed to do the wall of death in the middle of a dressage test.

Yayy! I look forward to the piccies and vids! :D

My TB was the best ever yesterday! We went for a long hack up the hill cantering in big open spaces and along grass verges, waiting nicely while we stoped to look at the views! So impressed with him! :D

Went to buy a foal a few weeks back, OH used to really dislike the whole horsey "scene" but he has been really supportive since realising not all horsey women are the same ;)

Anyway when I got my cheque book out, guess what - OH has bought him for my birthday present! Turnaround or what?

Going to be hunting this winter.....:D

Got me hunters teeth done this morning, he's got the farrier monday first thing (barefoot, fabulous feet) and I break up for summer hols on Wed....so who do you think is about embark on a slow fittening programme for the autumn season?

:D

The fact that my filly will walk by my side with no headcollar, even over trotting poles and stopping/turning etc- always makes me smile.

Riding my TB again, we're both enjoying that :D

They both 'join in' with poo-picking  takes me twice as long, but lovely that they want to be with me like that.

Watching them have a hoon round is always fun to watch too.

My horses are the best therapists ever :D

I'm getting to ride my pony again after his operation to fuse his hocks :) may only be at a walk but hes loving it and so am I! Bring on the next 3 weeks of walking and we then get a trot :)

We entered our second show last weekend, after Star had her eye removed (cancer).

We won the class!!!!!! And I got the most beautiful pic of us cantering during our show - relaxed jaw, on the bit....me sitting up straight :D Everything I ever wanted us to look like.

And today we went out playing in the rain, jumping over branches, galloping up the hill and stopping easily.

I love my pony.
