I'm not a showing person but I want to play too!!!! :D

We did the tack and turnout at Chertsey Show last summer......our only go at anything resembling showing. Despite Zoom not getting the whole not galloping around jumping thing we came 4th.

Me at my one and only show to date with seren coming second in a veteran class and qualifying for veteran horse of the year show in bath and east. I was so proud. I think it was July but the weather was hideous, not that it dampened my happiness at all :)

Stinky going reserve champion at Herts County last May - our first ever county show, still not come down to earth

Chancerjpeg.png

and our first working hunter cob in January this year

StinkysfirstWorkingCob4.jpg

I then found out I had cancer a few days later, so am now grounded for a while, but I fully intended to be out showing by late May and doing the Working Hunter finals classes in July/August that he is qualified for.

Can't wait to get out showing again. OH had promised I can do a couple of inhand classes Easter Sunday at a local show if I am not too bad from the chemo, to stop me pining for the ring.

All gorgeous. I know showing has it's flaws but the highs are immense and the horses love it... guess there is a poser in all of them

TGM - your daughter's pony really is stunning. Please can you get her to have a word with Zoom and tell her that rushing round the ring with your head in the air snorting is not becoming of a lady!!

Trust me Dezzie is an idiot in the most adorable way. He was bred in Ireland out of and ISH mare Tavern Lady and his Sire is Zero Watt full TB. We bought him just after he won Dublin and Balmoral. His competing name is Countdown..... yes I get very sick of the theme tune lol
