AND Happy 13th Birthday to Olive. I've had her three years today and the old battleaxe has turned 13 :) no pics because I'm useless, but trust me she's gorgeous!

Happy Birthday my wonderful beast child! X

I'm still waiting for pics of the bloody clip and hogg :p

Does a horse hogg have one or two gs. Sheep hoggs have two, but I am thinking it may be hog. Gosh do I post this or not now :o

FW have you been at the wine? :p

I always thought it was "hog"... I could be wrong, never thought about it.

I did read a book when I was doing A Level history with lots of church records about sheep which talked at length about "yowe hogges" though :p

Ah yes, yowe hoggs (ewe hoggs - a female sheep between weaning and clipping whereupon she becomes a gimmer until she lambs then she's a ewe, depending of course, on where you are in the country :o:D).

I have just finished lambing, no wine needed to cause confusion for me :o

Yea, I became rather practised at reading the West Country accent and somewhat expert in different names for different types of sheep. It's never come up in conversation before though! :D

Speaking of sheep, have you ever read Three Bags Full? A great addition to your post lambing state of mind, I'm sure :D

Fdubs - hogalog and clip pics will be comin when I get back on it :) yes, one G I believe!

You two are quite M'aaaaaaaa'd!
(Do you see what I did there?)
