Ok so warning this is a happy post and slightly self indulgent but I have just got back from the most fantastic ride!
We have had a bit of a rough time recently with the weather stopping us from riding for 3 weeks
got back riding last week and walked out for the first 2 rides, but the flies have been awful and ruined both rides
Today we took them into the cross country fields, popped a couple of jumps and just had fun, Max flew every jump I pointed him at and I didn't get left behind once
We even went in the water jump
Everything seemed to click and both the horses' owner and myself had the best evening in a long time... and we're going to do it all again tomorrow!! I've had a bit of a bad week for various reasons and tonight has really put a smile on my face
