Went out for first hack for five weeks with FB and MoM. She is now sound again after her fall but we are taking it easy with her.
FB was amazing! He was totally cool about going out for a plod but the huge difference was how in control of his rear end he was. After his accident he had terrible ataxia for months and even when he arrived here nine months after the event he was still having problems, especially going downhill. Well, I put him on Premierflex HA and before MoM's accident he was improving a little, but then we had to stop riding for 5 weeks and I just kept giving him the supplement. Today he was just totally different! He was striding out down the hills and felt really solid and confident - like someone had tightened all his nuts and bolts, if you know what I mean. OH was behind us and said that FB just looked so much less clumsy, like he knew where his legs were.
Anyway, enough drivelling on, I just wanted to share how pleased we are
