The vet came out today to check on my boys fetlock wound, and with the help of Manuka honey the hole has gone from an inch in diameter to 1cm. Hopefully this will be the last bandage as even with spray to try and stop him chewing his bandage, he's got pretty good at it. So hopefully come Friday they will take off the bandage and it'll be healed enough that we can start to think about turnout and exercise again, or at least less permenant bandaging!
I've been so proud of him coping with box rest. I was really worried about sending him home ahead of me to be looked after by the YM there, but he's been brilliant and the other liveries have loved having such a cuddly horse around.
