Happy update!

Yesterday I did a 300 mile round trip to see a litter of Irish terrier puppies and was utterly thrilled to reserve a little dog. I can repeat the long journey to bring him home in 17 days!! Yipppeeeee!!! I was beginning to think it wouldn't/couldn't happen. I will, of course post photos when I can. Thanks for all the encouragement in my rather long search. The future is orange and rather wiry....

I know, I know!! I don't have a photo sadly as I was too busy puppy cuddling but I think the breeder said she would send me a photo which I will post of course. And when pup arrives, there will be photos, promise.

Stanley and I often meet an Irish terrier pup (well she's now about 8 months) when we are out and about. she's lovely, mad as a box of frogs with zero recall, but just such a friendly happy dog. good luck, I get the strong impression that they may need patient training!
