going to show tomorrow and jumping (on grass). the ground isnt too bad but have been told to bandage legs just to provide extra support.

however i keep getting mixed views. someone reckons i should just put bandages on, while someone else reckons i should put gamgee and bandage on, while someone else reckons not to put bandages on at all because they reckon they tend to injure themselves easier because the legs heat up or something

Bandages wont stop the concussion of landing on hard ground from travelling up the hoof and into the fetlock and knee joints.
If it's hard I wouldnt jump, if you think it's ok then use what you normally use

I think you have to judge it yourself depending on how big the course is and how hard the ground, what covering it has and so on.

My view has always been if the ground is rock hard then I never used to jump. There will always be another day.
