It's that time of year again :( And our clippers went bang recently.

I need some hardy clippers that will withstand clipping A LOT. As in the 21 horses on our yard a few times each (including a hairy hunting coblet), and then some.

Suggestions please?

Many thanks :)

I have the Lister Star clippers.

We clipped all sorts with them last year, including hairies and hogging my horse and they were excellent.

We only did around 15 or so clips though.

Love my liveryman Arena Plus, I have frequently done 5-6 full clips one after another with them, they never get hot. Mine are about 15 years old now and although I now only clip 4 they are done very regularly as I clip the minute they start to look even the slightest bit scruffy again and they keep on going year in year out!

I use Lister Legends and they are really nice to use, the horses accept them well and they are a bit more robust than the Lister Star but lighter to hold and not as noisy as the Laser. I normally do between 120 and 150 clips each winter and would highly recommend them.
