I'm thinking of going, never been before, what's it like there?

I'm coming from Leics (M1 way) and I've printed a route finder via the AA website.
It looks straight forward to get to (but I am crap with directions!) Is it easy to find?

Also, I've downloaded a copy of there classes that are listed on the BSJA website (classes 1 to 11), Do I assume that they have 2 arena's?! Probably yes but which class is 1st and what time does it start??

I've rung but it goes onto answere phone.

Currently 1 indoor surface and 1 outdoor. 2nd outdoor being overhauled at the moment. Good facilities. Organisation is a bit "relaxed" (i.e. sloppy) at unaffiliated shows (last 2 occasions I had to go and find the organiser and ask her to open the entries as it was almost the start time of the 1st class and she was still having a coffee).

Give me a wave as you drive past as I am 1/2 mile from Hargate. Get off the A50 at Hilton. Go in to Hilton and turn left at 1st roundabout. Next roundabout has shops/pub/garage on it - turn left there (marked for Eggington and Leisure Kingdom). Hargate is 1m along on left opposite a chinese restaurant (Mandarin something - it only opened last week - another pub bites the dust).

Hi, did you manage to get to Hargates?
It is a nice relaxed atmosphere and the people are friendly.
In the midweek the jumping is in the new arena on the surface and it starts with 85cm unafiliated, then the BN etc. We go regularly and last went 3 weeks ago, due to no vehicle, and the BN didnt start til 11.30.
At the weekend, the smaller classes are on the grass arena and the bigger ones are on the new surface.
Let us know what you thought.
I am not far from the A42, and take the A511 into Burton, then take the A38 for about a mile, then off at the services, up the road for about another 2 miles, and Hargates is up there on the right, just after the railway crossings. It takes me about 30 mins.
