This year the show will be held on Sunday, 16th June (the Sunday before Cheshire Show) at Hargate Hill Equestrian Centre, Charlesworth, nr Glossop. Hopefully the weather will be better this year. Last year we were uncertain whether to have a horse show or a water polo tournament!

As last year, the show will be supporting Dobbinz & Co and Help for Heroes.

We will have a variety of classes with something for everyone, including last year's new classes for shire/shire types, rescue and ex-racehorses, and the "Grumpy Old Gits " class for riders over 40 years of age with special rosettes for any rider over 60. A special rosette will be awarded for any rider entering any class on side saddle (habit optional). There will be show jumping and working hunter classes and last year's absence of a working-in area will be remedied this year (unless we are completely under water!). And, of course, there will be a fun dog show and pony novelties.

As usual there will be a catering truck offering hot and cold drinks and snacks, our famous Charity Show cake stall with lots of home-made goodies, a tack and riding supplies stand and a tombola with fantastic prizes. Our charities are planning to have information stands and we are hoping to have the help of Glossop Army Cadets who were invaluable last year.

It's a lovely day out for competitors and spectators alike. There is no charge for entry to the showground for spectators so why not give Dad a different day out for Father's Day this year?

Our new web-site and schedules should be available by the end of March.
