Hari off her food today.

Just back from the horses after bringing them in giving them a wee bit of haylage while tied up.Went and made their food gave jae his and ate it no problem gave hari hers and she picked at it so i just pottered about putting their haylage out in the field ready for them to go back out.

Went back to hari and she wasn't eating her feed and was more interested in the haylage.
so i threw that feed away and went and made her fresh food with fresh sugar beet but same again she kinda picked at it but left it so i just had to put her out in the field with out it

. She seemed to be her self maybe more quieter than normal but noting to over react about.

Has anybody else had anything similar happen?

Just keep an eye on her. Horses, like people, can have off days.

Haylage is very yummy so it might just be it was more tempting than the food you were offering. If she's happily munching haylage I wouldn't be too worried.

Yeah! When i put her out to the filed she just went straight over to her haylage.

Suppose its just i havent seen her off her feed before(only had her 5 months) but she loves her food.

Will keep an eye on her.
