Not an advert people. Looking for help.

My 73 year old friend (was my first ever riding instructor) needs to get rid of her harness and cart. She is now quite out of the modern horse world loop... Stuck in her ways shall we say. She is still incredibly old school in all things 'horse'.
Firm believer that English leather is the only kind of tack that people should own, which is fine but she struggles to understand that second hand leather stuff of days gone by might not fetch a huge amount of money...

She has an exercise cart and two sets of harness, all to fit max 13.1 pony I should think, fairly light at that. Harness in very good condition, cart is ok but is probably considered old, nice and well balanced though. She used to regularly win london harness parade, windsor and even had the Queen comment on how lovely her winning driving pony was! Anyway....

Without giving too much detail so this post isn't removed I'd like to know how much she should ask? Could be sold as job lot or separate I guess...

I ride but am in no way into driving so have no idea what she should be asking, hence my post here!

Please help, PM if more details required if u think it'll look like advertising.

I cannot value without looking at the harness. If you go to the British Driving Society website and get contact details for your nearest LHHI and take the harness to them they should give you a decent valuation for selling it.

If your friend is not looking for maximum money then the carriage driving section of the RDA could be interested in it.
