Harness recommendations

Looking for recommendations for a very strong, wide, padded harness, for the bigger dog pictured. Must be quite wide/padded as the last harness she had rubbed her, but whilst she mainly walks superbly on the lead, when she sees something scary a few times she has come close to getting her collar off. It needs to be pretty strong too as at last weigh in she was 24.8 kilos and that was before she got her winter coat...:eek: I've never really done harness shopping before though so don't know what brands may be good and our local petshop has an incredibly limited selection!! :rolleyes:

I use a julius k9 on my 31kg GSD who LOVES cats.... they have a handle so you can grab that too if you need to keep them under close control. They're designed with the dog in mind.

Both of mine have these (29kg and 23kg) and I like them. I used Perfect Fit over the summer and went back to these ones-they also have different canicross harnesses. Fitz has one that I bought for Quarrie as well-it was really cheap and I didnt try it for ages as thought it looked rubbish. Tried it on him recently and really like it for him (he's the shape and temp that can back out of stuff if spooked but he'd have a hard time backing out of this-also has an excellent grab handle, he's not a puller)

A brand called 'Gencon' have just released a brand new WIDE All-in-One clip to collar lead that is wider for large or curly dogs, and as well as having great reviews the brand itself is great! It's a great fit on my very large dog and I wouldn't choose any other product!
