I am suposed to be going to the one on the 16th August- my last show of the season. Whats it like- big/busy/crowded etc etc.

Never been so just trying to get a heads up before next sunday of what to expect.

I'll be going too, just to watch/groom as my horse is only just coming back into ridden work.
They are usually quite well organised and have some lovely horses aas some of the classes are qualifiers for Chiltern and Thames etc.
The judges are usually fair and the classes a good size without being overcroweded.
What I will warn you about is the weather, it's very exposed being on the top of a hill. I got terrible heat stroke there one summer.

The Essex one runs lovely little shows, not too busy, but people in the class. Well organised, and effective first aiders

We go there for dressage. Well run and friendly. Food in the cafe not expensive. Yes it is either sun burn on a hot day or wind howling across the farm.

Im going there too,
i went to watch a show on the horse im taking and it wasnt too busy but a fair amount of people there and horses there.
I just hope its not too windy as people have said its on top of a hill, and the wind is not too kind on hills.

Also what classes are you doing?

Ooo thanks for the info guys. It was a last minute entry really as I was going to do Felted but decided to go for somewhere with different judges- as also we did very well under the ones at Felsted I want a different opinion!
