You can get ones you flip over ( if you're incredibly strong) so it's a chain harrow not a tine harrow, but I've never done an arena with it

I use chain harrows on my field and on my sand/carpet arena. It does an excellent job- in the arena I use it spikes down when it's wet (mixes) or spikes up when it's dry (levels)

I do the same as this (sand and rubber). If I want to mix it more or for the fields I throw a pallet on top and tie it on to add more weight. Makeshift but it works, although it doesn’t dig out the corners like a proper arena rake. For that I use Mr Abacus.
