I am trying to sell a brand new Harry Dabbs Jumping saddle, I put it on e-bay but it didn't sell so am wondering whether it is because it is just before christmas or whether to lower the price I am asking. What do you think would be a reasonable price to ask for this make of saddle? (if it is time of yearI will wait and re-list in new year!)
Thanks

The reality of ebay is that most people are looking for a bargain, and I suspect your Harry Dabbs was a bit above the usual budget. There are buyers out there who would know the value of it and might purchase on eBay, but you would have to leave it on there for quite a long time, and highlight it, to attract the right kind of buyer

I am looking for a jumping saddle but would be reluctant to purchase a more expensive one off ebay due to the risk of it not fitting my horse, dont need the hassle and potential loss of money if I get it wrong. Different story if I knew exactly what size and width in a specific make my horse needed. Ebay can be a bit hit and miss I am afraid.

I also have a Harry Dabbs Event saddle that I'm thinking of selling, I am actually reluctant to put it on e-bay coz I'd like people to be able to try it on their horse, I think I was mis-sold it.

It is black 17" Medium but the gullet is changable (I'm petty sure it is). It has literally been sat on once for two mins. It is brand new! I think its RRP is over £1k, I am not asking that much!! It doesn't fit either of my horses and I'm gutted!! What do you all think is a reasonable price for it?
