Can these be popped in the washing machine? Also anyone have both this girth and a prolite? Thinking of getting the latter for older mare but not sure of sizing.

I've had both, I'm not sure why you would want to put the HD in the washing machine as it's wipe clean. The only issue I have with them is the binding splits over time which is a pain when you have something particularly sensitive.
My horse is a 42-44 depending on make, 44 in the prolite which didn't work for us.

As they're elastic you might be able to go longer than in a Prolite. Brilliant girths but yes, the binding can split eventually. I'm not sure I'd machine wash but they can so easily be scrubbed off by hand...not sure you really need to?

I’ve always just wiped mine or given it a scrub by hand if it’s got really caked in mud. Just warm water and washing up liquid. I use Harry dabbs and love them

I found the prolite came up small because of being so padded - could barely get it done up in comparison to my original girth of the same size (which hadn't stretched, I measured before selling that one later on)
