Please have a look in Gallery at Harry my 2yo Fresian X. Took him walkies today for the first time and it got a bit hairy! He is so strong already, wary about attaching lunge line through bit so early in his introduction to a bit but could hardly hold him. Any ideas or advice gratefully received!

anyone?????????????????? Should I put lunge line through bit or attach roller and side reins to headcoller to gain a bit of control. So worried about his mouth as he is so young yet needs to get out and about!

hey - he is a beauty - love freisans..they always look so beautiful.
You should do great with him...
You could try a chifney - might be a little harsh on him and if you dont know how to use them as they can be very strong.
We used to use them on the young race horses which came into the yard due to them messing around and being very strong...you would have more control but look into them before buying as I do remember they could be quite harsh....

My friend has lent me her dually halter for my yearling who can be strong, she certainly doesnt mess with that, means i dont have to use a bit yet either. She stands about 15hh now and is a friesian x!
