Hartland, North Devon people please!

I have a friend in the Midlands who is possibly looking to move to Hartland or the surrounding area later this year. She's asked me what the hacking is like and if there are any DIY yards in the area, but as I'm not far out of Exeter I have no idea!

Can anyone help, obviously this is just a general enquiry at the mo, cheers!

Yeah, not in hartland myself, but know the area, the hacking is lovely and their are a few diy yards close, all reasonable..
