I was there a few years ago - couldn't stay for financial reasons but tbh I'm glad as some of the people there were very unpleasant

They've left now and it's supposed to be really good - ditto the comments about the facilities though

Still a great place, great horses, it can be hard on people tho. I'm there for lessons occasionally and will be acompanying teams up there for training from UWE this year. There have been alot of staff changes last couple of years and a few over this summer who i havn't met yet.

I went to look at that place 12 years ago - seemed nice but I wasn't keen on the overall impression given by the woman in charge (v scary!!) although am sure she's probably long gone now. I ended up going to Brackenhurst in Notts instead. Much more fun and relaxed atmosphere!

i left 4 years ago had the best time EVER! made amazing friends i am still best friends with now, had horses at college had fab private lessons with jeremy michaels and even one with carl H!!! couldn't recommend highly enough! Social life fanatastic, it is what you make it anywhere you go i think, i put my heart and soul into it and had the best time

I did my first year of my degree there, if I hadn't been so thoroughly homesick I would have stayed as I really liked it. I finished my degree in a small local agric college - teaching wasn't as good but TBH I liked the agric college much better as it was much smaller and much more personal - my lecturers knew my name for a start!
Facilities are reknowned for being a bit "look but don't touch", although I was pleased to see lessons going on in the big new indoor when I was last there a couple of months ago.
Don't be pulled in by their sales pitch is my advice - you will know if you like it there only by visiting
