Harvey Update

Following on from:

Harvey has had his scan and been in theartre and he has a fracture to his Pastern bone and a fracture to his Cannon bone.

They are keeping him in until Wednesday to access him further.

it might cheer you up - was at a vets lecture last night run by my own vets practice and they also had for us to look at their new x-ray system and lots of phots. He showed us photos of a fracture pedal bone and also a fractured shoulder and both horses made a full recovery after box rest.

My own horse had a fractured pelvis 8 years ago and recovered and still does RC dressage

so very good luck and hopefully the news next wed. will be good.

News could be better. One of his wounds is bleeding downwards and in to his foot, they can't get to the interal part of the wound where the blood is going downwards as its too close to all his vital tendons etc. They are having to hope that it heals itself. If not, and he does not improve the vet & Claire will have to make a decision on Tuesday about his future.
