Has any used long melford saddlery?

I would steer clear if I were you. I ordered a rug at the end of the summer and despite numerous e-mails which they didn't respond to they didn't e-mail me back for over two months by which time I had gone elsewhere.

That was pretty much my experience too! They may be alright if you can go into the shop, but I wouldn't consider mail order from them again.
 
I go in there a bit but wouldnt order from them. Ordered over reach boots over the phone. Said i need them urgent, will then come and pick them up when they are in. Had message left to say my brushing boots were in.... good job I had ordered elsewhere!! Tried to ring several times to say OVER REACH boots not brushing boots but no answer.L
 
Thanks guys! I haven't tried the hat on yet! Can't find anyone who stocks the wentair skull cap so there is a high possibilty that I will be changing from the ventair back to the euro delux
 
They are one of my local tack shops and have let me down many a time when i've ordered things. They are helpful to get your custom, but never seem to get the goods to you!

Hmm also local to me and I cannot understand how they manage to create any buisness, the place is a so untidy. Unfortunatley they are our local Amerigo dealers and through them we have sent back a latex close contact saddle to be made narrow, took nearly four months - thank goodness o eventing at the moment! (when did finally pick it up he pulled it out of a pile of rugs from the floor!)
From experience if they have it in stock , generally they are okay, if not steer well clear!!
