I have known Ricky for Many Many years nd have had some lovely horses in our yard from him, my friend rode one of his ponies years ago, nd i would Always Reccomened him to someone looking for a horse along with Fiona Wingrove.
My friend has bought a youngster from him
(well was younger) shes had him a few years now, and she takes him out and competes on him, shes never had any problems with him!!!
It may be that Wakes Colne had been lied to with regards to the age of the horse..... its quite common from horses coming from abroad.
I used to work for a Dealer whos horses came from Ireland, and they were all "ridden" apparantly, but most of the time this was not really the case!
As I said in my pm I had dealings with them a couple of years ago and was not to happy, but have had a recent dealing with them and am rather impressed, have you spoken to them as they as has been said in previous post have been lied to themselves and not known.
I think he's sorted himself out a bit tbh. My friend has a STUNNING mare she bought off him who is doing really really well. She's also bought quite a few others off him. Pleased to see he isn't really doing bargain basement types any longer, and concentrating more on quality ones!
