I spoke to my vet and he said that this shouldn't be a problem and very unlikely to pass on to the foal,
but has anybody got experience from breeding a mare with sacro-iliac problem?
any issue with foal?
or the mare? during pregancy/foaling or getting back into work after?

Ive got a mare due in a month who got injured sacroilliac/hip area.

We had no problems getting her in foal but we did go for a pony for her first foal in the hope it was less strain on her....watch this space, just thinking of starting to bag up!

How did things work out for you?
I have mare with sacroiliac problems, and we are thinking of putting her in foal. I am just a little concerned that we might aggravate the injury once more.

Our pony mare had sacroiliac problems she was out on loan at the time it happened, she got cast and became lame, so we had her back gave her a year in the field and then put her in foal, she coped absolutely fine all throughout the pregnancy and foaled on her own. She is now back with her loan home and is being ridden and enjoying life to the full.
