I have!!
I know complete madness,but i havent been able to go for weeks due to being on crutches,so couldnt resist,even with the weather like it was.
It was nice to be out,but didnt have abrill day
 
My daughter went - it was her first time - poor thing, all that rain. She stayed out 2.5 hours and then was soaked through and cold.

She did enjoy it though and wants to go again.

Breeches, gloves and stock are now in soak. Bridle etc was so wet, I washed tack in bucket before hanging up to dry. Major oiling session scheduled for tomorrow or Monday.
Nearly fell off at one fence, I was shivering so much. But despite incipient hypothermia, fantastic to be out. Much better than watching 'Grandstand' or whatever's on TV on Sat afternoons these days.
Mind you, if hunting's ever banned, I would have been a damned sight warmer today.
 
only rain! you guys had it easy! it started raining as i left the house, and by the time i was getting on to hack up to the meet it was snowing. lasted until 2 then got fed up of being snowed on and went home...
my jacket is still dripping!
 
I went out and despite wearing 6 layers on top got soaked to the skin. Had great fun though but was very pleased when I was offered a lift home as opposed to hacking back. Did the pony and then got straight into the bath. Heaven!! Then fell asleep on the sofa cuddling the dog watching tv.

Out again tomorrow but its not raining. Hurray!!
 
I went yesterday.Had a fairly good day,and the weather was alot better than last week,just got frozen to the saddle instead of soaking wet!!
It was great as i used someone elses horse,they got it ready for me,cleaned the tack,and transported it for me AND even payed for my cap!!
