Am totally fed up with this weather now as we've had snow pretty much since Monday evening. Just as it clears, it snows again.

I was just starting to get the horses in work again after the cold snap after Christmas which left everything too cold and icy for it to be safe and now they've had another week off due to the snow.

I did manage to get one out this morning just for 20 minutes as it was snowing again and too cold for me, plus I got a migraine just after we left so felt awful.

Have a really good feeling about this year with the horses but don't seem to be able to do much with them at the moment and it's getting depressing.

I have just about managed, to start with the school was under water, then went out on a hack and got caught in a blizzard and came back covered from head to toe in snow which is not good when your horse is white!!! Think i might struggle tomorrow as the school will probably freeze solid overnight and the roads will be too icy!!

Can't even remember the last time I rode!! Has either been raining/galeforce winds/ice/snow for the last few weeks!
Lovely UK!! Hope we have a summer this year

NO. Time of work has been good.......apart from no riding. Just too much snow, ground uneven underneath. I had just got him fit, now with no turn out he is just having to have a walk in hand, even that is a bit dodgy though.

I rode for the first time today since Sunday. I took the trailer (the first time I could safely drive out the yard) and went and used a local indoor school. She was a bit of a handful, but only to be expected after 4 days off and stuck in her stable.

Yup! A foot of powdery snow here, drifting to 3 feet in places! Couldn't exercise for the last couple of days because it was just ice, but now its snowed again w can get out - the horses are all barefoot, so cope fine in the snow :-)

Vrin- can I come

Planned to skive off early yesterday so I could go do clear round at evening sj to practice for area RC tommorrow but was cancelled so came home early and rode out in dayglo gear for and hour. Pleased I did cos tommorrow is cancelled thank go and I am not sure we will be able to ride out (at home and no arena)

Now the evenings are getting lighter Evie takes Robin for a spin after school most days, hadn't been on the track for a couple of weeks, I didn't think it was so deep. That horse is 15.2h and I (being considerably less than 15.2

) was way past my knees in it. She went round, I didn't!
