Has anyone been to Burghley before?

Decided to go down for XC day. I need a new BP and am thinking either to stop en route at Rideaway or get one at Burghley. Is there likely to be a good selection there??? I've looked at the shop list but it's hard to tell.

I went a few years ago and the shopping was great. I'm going this year as part of my 21st birthday! Yay! How about you look around burghley and go rideaway on wya home if no luck? (i have no idea where it is so sorry if this isn't feasible!)

does BP mean body protector?

There will be a Champion stand with experienced fitters, who will advise you what size and model suits you best, but they don't sell from the stand. There are a number of large saddlers there, who will have some with them, but whether they have enough to cover your make and model, I wouldn't bet on it.

I thought I'd buy a new hat there last year, but didn't end up coming away with one.

I won't be travelling back till Sun and Rideaway isn't open. It's near York....I live in Scottish Highlands....LONG drive!!! We are combining it with a visit elsewhere and it's my 30th on Sat. Think I'll go via rideaway....can spend the time trying on and can take my saddle as well to test back length.

Derby House usually have a stand as do Townfields and umpteen others.
Usually a good selection of all the makes and usually plenty of people to fit them.
Take plenty of money as it is a bit of a shopping bonanza!
