Has anyone bought rugs from Kramer? (specifically 6'3)

As title.

I just received the Kramer catalogue in the post, guess I'm on their mailing list after an online purchase. They have a fantastic range of fly rugs and some turnouts that I fancy BUT the rug sizes are a bit odd. They appear to jump from 6'0 to 6'6 and typically it's 6'3 I need.

I was just wondering if the rugs were generous so a 6ft would do or smaller made and a 6'6 would do the trick.

As an aside, are there no 6'3 horses in Germany?? ha ha

This bugs me too - I have a 6' thermomaster cooler and it is a bit on the small side, I'd say. The mare I bought it for is nicely in a 6' ruggles and 6' PE is a bit big, so a genuine 6' horse, but the Thermomaster is a bit on the short side. (But not so short I sent it back - it was a bargain, and it's only for travelling!)

So I'd say buy the 6'6!

Thanks. He's 6'3 only because of his QH butt and needs all surcingles shortened as far as they'll go. The TB's 6'6 are too big for him so I was hoping that the answer was going to be that 6'0 was big made...

I might buy a cheaper rug to try first in the 6'6 and hope he broadens more in front this spring!

I got a 6'6" for the Appy from there and it was a bit on the short side and didn't really cover her ample behind - so you might be OK with a 6'6"

It got donated to the local riding school after one season. Didn't leak or anything, but it made her look even fatter than she actually is!

I need one of those rugs to blame for my fatness, instead of my actual fat ha ha Is your appy normally a 6'3?

It's the big QH arse that scuppers a 6' on my mare too ;)

On the plus side it's his arse that keeps mine in proportion! I just have to pass him off as a TB and I'm positively waif like ha ha

I still can't believe they just miss out whole sizes! Seems to be 5'9 and 6'3 that fall victim to the discrimination!

I bought liners from there and mines a 5ft9 normally, sometimes a small 6ft. I went down a size to 5ft6 as I find liners work better slightly smaller. They seem to be a fairly generous fit, so I wonder if it varies from style to style?

They have so many that I wouldn't be surprised. The fat Appy is a 6'3" in Ruggles but a 6'6" in weatherbeeta so I went for the larger size with the one I got from Kramer but her bum stuck out!

It's sounding like it

All rugs are a bit of a nightmare thinking about it o_O there's so much variation even within one brand
