...broken an electric fence with their arse....
shocked.gif

Just bringing my mare in and she spun at gelding (foalie was behind us and she's quite protective). Double barrelled him, got her foot stuck in fence then spun round. I was stuck somehow between fence and angry mare and sort of ended up sitting on the fence - anyway, cue 240v of electricity on my bum

- I jumped and so did mare - who shot off - fence broke and I was sitting on my arse watching her heels kicking up dirt as she gallopped off.

Bet it hurt though - but I can better that one.

Had hold of horsey and had turned round to close the gate thing. Dropped the handle - as I bent down to pick it up something spooked my boy who lept forward pushing me from behind face first onto the fence - 240v up the nose - now that was painful!!!

I managed to zap my head not so long ago!! The tape was a bit loose and I bent down to do something, then there was a big gust of wind and it zapped my head. Didn't really know what had happened, but it did wake me up (relieved it isn't mains electirc fencing.....could have had an interesting hairstyle!!!)

forgot fencer was on months ago, unhooked the gateway and ponio and self got a shock.he`s still not quite forgiven me and has to hurry through!

another time i made my mum touch the fence for a laugh and held her hand on it.......forgot that it would get me too.

I got one on the arse once!!
Wet morning, wet fence.... bent down to pick a poo, ZAP.....Poop scoop flew skywards, as did poo. Pony ran of snorting
OUCH

Yup. Reaching up to undo friend's TB headcollar to let him go, tape flapped in wind and slapped back and caught me zappo on the thigh. I shrieked and the shock went up my arms and into TB headcollar/head and he shrieked too! He shrieked in horse, I shrieked in Anglo Saxon. A teenager and her mum were having a lesson in the school next door. They very kindly ignored the language and shouted was I alright. I now understand why horses are so respectful of electric fencing!!!

I was feeding a carrot to my old gelding over the electric fence and as he bit on it,i touched the fence with my leg and he bit an electrified carrot- for the rest of his life, if you offered him a carrot he would back off snorting!
