...that horses and ponies are so much cuter in their rugs?

Is this a thing that has just completely passed me by? Loan pony was all tucked up in her rug this afternoon when I arrived and she's so bloody cute, it makes it look like she's wearing a dress and my heart just melted ?

I've never stopped to consider how bloody adorable little ponies are in their rugs, but now I can't get enough. Anyone else?

My Fell pony doesn't think so.

He's completely freaked out at the fact that all the horses we pass on our hacks have suddenley changed from completely normal horse colours to all the colours of the rainbow!

It's genuinely really upset him. ?

I've always thought my very elderly Arab looks adorable in her rug, but the effect has been magnified since she started wearing some of her field mate's rugs. He's a rug size bigger than her, so she always looks like she's wearing a dress and it's really cute! He isn't rugged anymore, so lots of rugs to spare!

This is the same for my loan pony, her rug is a bit too big and it's all frilly at the bottom so looks like a lovely little dress ?
