has anyone ever used camrosa

I used it for mud fever and yes it does work.
Because it is water proof i did'nt need to apply it every day, like some creams. It cleared it up really quickly.

Yes - for scabby legs which I later discovered to be caused by feather mites. Horse hated it and someone then suggested pig oil and sulphur which seemed to go down better and cured the problem at a fraction of the cost.

It's worked really well with harvest mites and mud fever for me. I am not too sure whether that is because of the vaseline content though rather than anything else in it...

I always thought this looked like a fantastic product from the adverts BUT I have seen, cannot remember where, some really negative feedback on it, as in making certain conditions far worse. If you intend using it please do some digging and find out everything you can about it, I really wish I could remember where I saw it and exactly what was said (possibly on IHDG) but it was very negative.

Yes!

I used it to remove a sarcoid in the girth area, it was the flat type about the size of a 50p and right where the girth goes, it took three months from the start of using it to it being a hair covered area again with no sarcoid, I followed the instructions to the letter and thats the important bit!

Brilliant stuff and the sarcoid has not returned in 18 months!

I use it for mud fever. I just smother any scabs that appear and reapply every other day until it's gone. Usually after the second application the scabs just slide off and then it's another couple of days until it's gone entirely. I'll also put a thin layer on the heels to help prevent it when the ground is muddy. Seems to do the trick. Not tried it for anything else but there's a booklet that comes with it showing various different uses.

Yes, I used to use it in the top of my pony's tail when he was a bit itchy in the summer - yes it works, but it is a bit messy. Also used to use the Camrosa shampoo which seemed good for him too

Yep i used it on sarcoids, cleared them up and have not reappeared 4 years down the line. Also a friend of mine used it on her mares feet, they were at the point where the farrier could not put shoes on her, and it did an amazing job. :)

im using it for my dog atm
she had a burn (unfortually she got in the way while i was monovering some hot water and some had dripped on to her)

it has left a 2 inch bald patch..been using camrosa for a while now and has improved alot but not completely..still waiting for the hair to grow back completly

so yes always worth a go

Ive posted this before but I use this stuff for everything and anything.

Scars, cuts, sunburn (on me or horse), dogs, I use it on brittle hooves too just rub into the coronet band and its great for shaving rash ladies :D

Elizabeth Arden sell the more appealing human verson, 8hr miracle cream but for the price of it I share the horses stuff lol.

I have used it mainly for mud fever and swear by it, if your not sure the people at camersoa are really helpful and will give you advice. I for one love the stuff !

thanks everyone i was only wondering about it because my mare looses her mane in the winter. i thought that it was her rug because i have always used one with a neck so i bought her on with out and it worse this year than any other. but her mane looks stupid because the hair doesnt grow back. when it does it she has huge flakes like 5p size of dandruff! and wondered whether camrosa or any other products would work

I read another thread on here (historical search) where people were saying for sarcoid use it can and has made some worse, some vets apparently call it 'sarcoid fertiliser' others have had successful use from it for sarcoids too, but as there are so many different types of sarcoid out there this sort of variance does not surprise me, unfortunately I'm not aware of any science been done to discover what types respond well and which don't. And for that reason it is a gamble to use it for this condition IMO.
