My husband ordered some new boots for my birthday early December and they have still not arrived...

He has had to chase them continusly, and just recieves emails saying they cant do anything as they are out of stock (yet they are still advertised on their website??!). They happily took his money, yet we havent recieved the order.

We have had promises of delivery by the 23rd December, to be in time for Christmans- nothing! Then they said there were issues with the delivery company, that they had been sent, then there were issues with their order system, more promises of them being sent out 'next week' and still nothing!

Sorry for the rant, i just feel so angry that companies still get away with such poor/ rude customer service- plus it was the first time i had convinced my hubby to get horsey related things for me- and ive still not got them :-(

Just wondered if anyone was in the same boat and if they have recieved any updates- or indeed their orders?!

Never heard of them sorry. They have a postal address on the website so they don't look "dodgy"......

I wouldn't have had the patience to wait as long as you have! I'd demand a refund and buy them from somewhere else.

I had similar when I ordered some Pikeur breeches from an online retailer. I appreciate that Pikeur breeches come from Germany, but there was no indication on their website that they were out of stock, hence I assumed they had the item. It turned out that they had to make a special order from Germany for them in the colour I had chosen, weeks later, no delivery date so when I queried it, they suggested I changed it to another more common colour. Again nothing for weeks so when I went to cancel the order, I was told they were nearly there and it would not be possible! By this time I was so fed up, I insisted on cancelling the order and a refund. Perhaps 2 months from first order to cancellation. I ended up buying a pair in a local shop so they couldn't have been that hard to obtain!

I often think that some equine related companies are particularly bad for customer service sometimes. I wonder if its because people go into that line of work as a sort of hobby and don't really see it as a serious career but something they do when they have the time?

I had this exact problem with Horse Rugs 4 U. The law has changed and online companies are no longer able to advertise items as instock if they are not. I would let them know that you will be contacting trading standards and the advertising authorities as they are breaching the new trading laws, or they should give your money back.

Then go onto Amazon!

I know, i want to keep pushing hubby to chase them, but i dont want to be a total pain to him, especially as i already know he feels bad that they did not arrive on time (appreciate there is always a risk of this when ordering online!)

According to latest email they are waiting for another 350 pairs to come in..... so i know that i am not the only one waiting, just think we need some compensation, and better communication to be kept up to date, instead of us having to chase them each week.

:-(

I never buy anything from an online company I haven't used before without googling their name and looking for reviews/complaints etc. Cheap is not always cheerful.

I perosonbally would ask them to cancel my order, refund the money and I'd go get them from somewhere else!

I ordered an item from an online company with the hope it'd turn up by xmas - got my confirmation email but did not receive the ordered item. No money had gone from my account though. I tried calling the company, emailing the company and just got now answer and no reply. I since ordered the same item form amazon and have received it!

Yesterday (i placed the order on 19th December) I got an email from said company (or person who ran it) saying he'd just got back from holiday and would now be processing orders - did I wish to cancel or not?!

I mean COME ON!!! That's over 3weeks - there was nothing on the website and no message on the phone (it just diverted to the fax machine!). I just thought it was ridiculous.

Just go elsewhere I say and ask for a refund. I spoke to my bank about mine as no money had been taken - they said there was noting showing but that you had 6 mths to claim back money so i think, if the company won't give it back to you straight away you can ask your bank to take it back - I think anyway!
