Has anyone got a Mark Todd Coolex Rug??

Yes they are - but they have cross surcingles and slightly more secure fastenings at the front - just curious as thinking about buying one, wondered whether anyone had any experience with them???
 
The horse in the stable next to mine has one. It looks smart and is just like a thermatex I gather. I was thinking of getting one myself.
 
I have a Mark Todd Coolex rug. Its brill. They are lunching a turnout rug with the Coolex system next month. I've already seen it and it looks nice.
 
I was given a Coolex rug as a present a few weeks ago - it is gorgeous! I far prefer it to Thermatex as it keeps it shape much better - my old Thermatex went all saggy & used to slip back.

I've also heard about the Coolex turnout rug - Coolex fabric underneath (i.e. fill) & then waterproof outer like a normal turnout rug, isn't it? I haven't seen one yet but sounds FAB! Anyone know how much they'll be?
 
Is the Coolex as warm as the Thermatex? I really want a Thermatex but I'm put off by the rubbish straps and the fact that it's £20 more then the Coolex. Having given them both a squish in the shop, I'm still unsure the Coolex would be as warm?
My friend has one and it's very smart!
 
I think the Thermatex is warmer - I have both (but I am the queen of buying my horse stuff
crazy.gif
) and I use the Coolex at the moment but will move to the Thermatex when the nights get a little chillier. It is a lovely rug though.
 
aah thanks for that, I thought the Thermatex was warmer but didn't know if it was just me! Nice to know someone else thinks that too! My bank balance won't be at all pleased though about the £20 extra, but hey my horsey will be warm!
