I'm looking at some things on the decathlon website and I have been eyeing up some jodhpurs, a couple of saddlecloths, a headcollar and leadrope, a browband, brushing boots and tendon and fetlock boots.

Before I order anything I was wondering if anyone had any of the saddlecloths and could tell me how thick they where? Also does anyone have any of the horse boots? is the velcro secure on them?

Sorry, can't comment on the boots or saddlecloths, but I have some of the fouganza softshell breeches and I love them - same quality as some priced twice as much.

thanks, I think I looked at a pair of those online so its good to know. They are an awful lot cheaper than the jhodphurs/breeches my local tack shop sells. I really need a couple of new pairs as my current pairs are a bit holey :p

I have jodhs and half chaps and think they are great for the money. As good as shires or Dublin but cheaper. Better than Robinson's requisite stuff.

I have a Fouganza saddle cloth, nice and thick, decent quality and a great price, also have the tendon and fetlock boots, I really like them, look smart and good quality, just bought some breeches and they've become my new favourite pair :-)

thanks for the replies everyone :) I have ended up buying a couple of pairs of jhods and a saddlecloth so I'll see how I get on before ordering anything else.

I didn't know they did mane and tail!

I have a Fouganza waterproof jacket - it's neoprene thickness and fab, my instructor wants to nick it - every time I take it off in my lesson I have to make sure that I get it back. I keep telling him it won't fit.

I also have a couple of long sleeved tops and a waistcoat.

They all seem to be lasting reasonably well

Oh thanks for that...now have another website to distract me from work! The prices seem very good...and a girl cant have too many pairs of jodhpurs;)

I have a bridle and a breastplate and I have to say I like them and they fit well :)

I also have a pair of half chaps and they do what other half chaps do just fine :D I am getting a pair of breeches and a saddle cloth with the pockets for the rideouts :D

I've got loads of stuff from them over the years - from jods to hats, from socks to whips and bits and bobs for the horse. All really good quality and excellent value.

I've got some jhods a fleece and a bridle that was intended just for mouthing/getting Jasper used to one that has ended up being his day to day I was so impressed with it.

I've had a few other bits and bobs from there and im a big fan of their stuff

Ooo yes - loads of stuff and OH is back to France tomorrow for the weekend with a list.

Jods, fleeces, jackets, lead ropes, boots, rugs and LOVE their riding socks.

Echo what everybody else is saying. Good quality at a good price. We definitely have jods, gloves, boots and some tack from them. All wearing well and easily cleaned.
Same applies to their sailing clothing and swimming cossies.

thanks for the replies everyone :) I still have my eyes on a couple of the jackets but I think I have spent far too much as tonight I have ended up ordering three more pairs of jodhpurs, another saddle cloth and set of the brushing boots :D aswell as the other stuff I ordered on thursday :p

Its says I have to wait TEN DAYS :O until my stuff arrives!

I can't wait that long :'( I want it now!

I have a set of the brushing boots - the velcro is over sticky imo they definitely do not budge (this is a good thing not a critism!) I have been out for hours in thick mud & they havent moved a mm, I only paid £12 for them so absolute bargain!

I would say jod fit is pretty true to size, so a 28 is a good size 10, but they have a bit of flattering stretch to them so would go either way. Not sure if that helps much!
