keep changing my mind with my new horse, one min i think its too low and maybe banging his teeth then if i put it up looks too tight!!!

is it possible that there is more of a problem with the bridle\/ for example you may need a hole inbetween, the one above maybe too high + the one below may be too low, but if there was a hole inbetween it mite b perfect, but if you tried a different bridle you may not get this problem.

ye got a new bridle to try tomorrow so you could be right, my instructor always puts it up one in my lesson but the next time i put the bridle on it feels too tight

some times when you first put the bridle on the horse can hold its mouth a bit tight, + it does depend on if it is a loose ring or not as to how it will sit once you take up a contact.
