Has anyone got grass??

Birmingham we have none - none of the yard any where within our locality have any either.

All we have is paddocks of sun scored dying grass that desperately needs some rain.

Chico comes in in the day to have some hay at the moment.

Our grazing is east sussex- hastings is really crap, fields are brown and over grazed and my tb mare has dropped off a noticeable amount of weight already. Now having really bulky fields and tonnes of good hay. Its costing a fortune!!

I'm only 40 minute drive from you and the grass won't stop growing. The little bit of rain we're getting every night and then the sunny days are giving us a true flush!

Loads in Surrey! Topping it regularly and it just grows back like crazy. Very dense bright green stuff more than ankle high within weeks of topping.

Tons - but it has rained everyday practically since April. Only just cut haylage though so will need a bit of sun to get really started. Haylage will be rubbish so praying for a mild winter where grass will suffice (but not hopeful as in Aberdeenshire).

Herefordshire :- I'm ok with enough old grass to keep neds happy. 24/7 including 2 laminictics. But fields on the banks are looking brown. Could do with rain now to give a late flush before the autumn.

None here either ( Northants ) i have never fed so much hay and haylege through the summer, getting worried about winter now.

same here also in Northants,it's been really dry.

Although I'm not worried my horse holds his weight well on next to nothing. He gets a feed in the afternon with a haynet when he comes in to be ridden/faffed with.
